What to Expect During Your Emsculpt Treatment
Step 1:
Prior to your first Emsculpt session at our clinic in Birmingham, you’ll start by meeting with an experienced Smart Skin Med Spa provider for a 30-minute initial consultation!
We care about the success of our patients and providing them with the perfect treatment for their needs and goals. To make that happen, we’ll review your medical history and go over all of your unique aesthetic concerns before recommending a treatment.
Step 2:
If you’re a good candidate for Emsculpt, we’ll then take you to one of our clean and comfortable treatment rooms to start your session!
Your provider applies the Emsculpt paddle to the treatment area and secures it in place. Then you’re free to relax as the Emsculpt delivers HIFEM (High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology) to stimulate rapid muscle contractions.
This essentially gives your muscles an intensive workout—far more intense than you could achieve by traditional means.
Step 3:
Your Emsculpt treatment should take about 30 minutes. Because Emsculpt is totally non-invasive, you are free to return to your normal day after your appointment. The Emsculpt was designed to break up the lactic acid build-up from working the muscles, so you don’t have to worry about excessive soreness.
Step 4:
Once you finish your treatment with us, your provider will give you a set of aftercare instructions to follow for optimal results. You may see small improvements after a week or so, but noticeable results will occur further into your treatment series.
