What to Expect During Emsculpt NEO Treatment
Emsculpt NEO can target almost anywhere on the body, but for more precise and effective contouring on your abdomen, we now offer Edge applicators that specifically treat fat in the abdominal area.
Step 1
Prior to your first Emsculpt NEO session at our clinic in Birmingham, you’ll start by meeting with an experienced Smart Skin Med Spa provider for a 30-minute initial consultation!
We care about the success of our patients and providing them with the perfect treatment for their needs and goals. To make that happen, we’ll review your medical history and go over all of your unique aesthetic concerns before recommending a treatment.
Step 2
Once you come in for your Emsculpt NEO session, we’ll bring you back to one of our clean and comfortable treatment rooms.
Your provider will apply the Emsculpt NEO paddles to the target area, and the device will deliver a combination of high-intensity electromagnetic pulses and radiofrequency energy into the body.
This causes your muscles to quickly contract and burn fat—essentially a focused, highly effective workout for specific muscles.
Step 3
The session will take around 30 minutes, and you will be free to return to normal activities afterward, since Emsculpt NEO is completely noninvasive. For maximum results, you will return for 4 to 6 follow-up sessions.
Step 4
Your provider will give you a set of aftercare instructions for optimal results. You may see improvements at first, but your muscles will continue to develop and grow throughout and after treatment.
Generally, you’ll see the most improvement in 3 months from your last treatment.
