What to Expect During Your SaltFacial

Your SaltFacial experience should take about an hour. This treatment has absolutely no downtime or healing needed, making it perfect for your busy schedule. Afterwards your skin will feel soft, smooth, and more youthful than before.

Step 1:

Prior to your first SaltFacial at our clinic in Birmingham, you’ll start by meeting with an experienced Smart Skin Med Spa provider for a 30-minute initial consultation!

We care about the success of our patients and providing them with the perfect treatment for their needs and goals. To make that happen, we’ll review your medical history and go over all of your unique aesthetic concerns before recommending a treatment.

Step 2:

If you’re a good candidate for the SaltFacial, we’ll then take you to one of our clean and comfortable treatment rooms to start your treatment!

We’ll start by cleaning your skin and then applying the SaltFacial device that projects fine crystals of pure sea salt via positive-pressure flow technology for uniform resurfacing with no trauma to your skin.

Step 3:

The next step is an application of ultrasound energy to increase microcirculation and help topically applied products absorb deeper.

Step 4:

Finally, your provider moves on to SaltFacial Phototherapy, which uses powerful LED light energy to give cell turnover a huge boost, encouraging better healing for more naturally beautiful skin.

Step 5:

Once you finish your treatment with us, your provider will give you a set of aftercare instructions to follow for optimal results. Typically, you can expect to see immediate improvements in your skin after a SaltFacial, with minimal redness and no downtime.
